Flyers and Brochures

Flyer and brochure printing for marketing campaigns, event promotion, and local advertising. The kind that people actually pick up and read.

People keep saying print is dead. Meanwhile, a well-designed flyer in a letterbox gets picked up, read, and stuck on the fridge. A brochure at a trade show gets taken back to the office and shared around. Try getting that kind of staying power from a Facebook ad. Our Auckland commercial printing team prints flyers and brochures Auckland businesses and organisations rely on for marketing that actually lands in people's hands. Flyer production is one of our busiest commercial printing services, with fast turnaround on standard formats.

What are Flyers and Brochures?

A well-designed flyer placed in the right letterbox or handed to the right person creates immediate awareness and drives response you can actually measure. Brochures give you space to explain what you do with photos and details that a single flyer page can't fit. Both formats deliver targeted messages directly to people without requiring them to opt in, follow your page, or have their phone charged. Pair your flyers with corflute signs and business signage for complete campaign visibility.

Falcon Signs produces:

  • A5 flyers (the all-rounder)
  • DL flyers (letterbox and rack friendly)
  • A4 flyers (maximum impact)
  • A6 postcards (economical for big drops)
  • Tri-fold brochures
  • Bi-fold brochures
  • Gate-fold brochures
  • Custom promotional materials

We combine quality digital printing, paper stocks that feel right in hand, and finishing that keeps everything looking sharp.

From grand opening announcements to seasonal sales pushes, Auckland businesses throughout West Auckland, Henderson, Glen Eden, and New Lynn trust us to deliver printed marketing that gets results.

When You Need Us

When You Need Flyers and Brochures

1

Grand Openings and Launches

Announce your new location, product release, or service introduction to the local community. Get people through the door from day one.

2

Promotional Sales and Offers

Limited-time discounts, seasonal specials, exclusive deals. Put the offer directly into customers' hands and watch them come in.

3

Event Promotion

Concerts, exhibitions, markets, community gatherings. Reach the people who don't see your Instagram posts. There are more of them than you think.

4

Menu Distribution

Restaurants, takeaways, food delivery services. Position your menu where ordering decisions happen: the kitchen bench and the office desk.

5

Real Estate Marketing

Open homes, new listings, recent sales. Target buyers already interested in the area with property information that lands in their actual letterbox.

6

Service Announcements

Tradespeople, cleaners, lawn care, local professionals. A flyer in the right neighbourhood is worth more than a hundred social media impressions to people who'll never see them.

7

Club and Organisation Recruitment

Sports teams, community groups, social organisations. Reach people in your local area who share your interests. Not everyone is on Facebook groups.

8

Educational Institution Promotion

Enrolments, open days, programmes. Reach parents where they live with information they can read at their own pace and discuss with their family.

9

Charity and Non-Profit Appeals

Missions, events, donation opportunities. A physical piece of mail creates a tangible connection to your cause that an email just doesn't.

10

Trade Show and Exhibition Materials

Give attendees something to take away, review later, and share with colleagues. The brochure outlasts the conversation at the stand.

Our Process

Our Flyers and Brochures Process

01

Design Review

Whether you supply artwork or need our design services, we make sure files meet print specs for resolution, colour mode, and bleed before anything goes to press. Catches problems early.

02

Size and Format Selection

We help you pick the right flyer or brochure size for your distribution method and message. A5, DL, A4, tri-fold, custom sizes. Each suits different purposes and budgets.

03

Paper Selection

Paper weight and finish affect how the flyer feels in hand, how long it lasts, and what it costs. We recommend based on your distribution method and the impression you want to make.

04

Coating Options

Gloss or matte lamination adds durability and lifts the appearance for materials facing outdoor exposure or extended display. UV coating is an economical alternative.

05

Production

Printed on commercial digital equipment matched to your quantity. Consistent colour and quality through the entire run, whether that's 500 or 5,000.

06

Finishing and Quality Control

Precise trimming to spec. Accurate folding for brochure formats. Every order gets inspected before packaging. We don't ship anything we wouldn't hand to our own customers.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Falcon Signs for Flyers and Brochures?

Design Support Available

Not everyone has a designer on staff. Our team creates flyer and brochure designs that communicate your message clearly and prompt the action you're after.

Paper Recommendations

We advise on paper weights and finishes for your specific distribution method, durability needs, and the impression you want to make. It matters more than people realise.

Quantity Flexibility

Hundreds for a targeted campaign or thousands for a suburb-wide drop. We accommodate orders across the full range without painful minimums.

Colour Accuracy

Brand colours reproduce accurately across your materials. Your flyers and brochures match your brand guidelines, not a washed-out approximation of them.

Consistent Quality

Whether ordering 500 or 5,000, every flyer and brochure meets the same standard. The last one off the press looks like the first.

Folding Precision

Brochures need accurate folding or the whole thing looks amateur. Our finishing delivers clean, precise folds that create the intended panel sequence every time.

Frequently Asked Questions - Flyers and Brochures

A5 (148mm x 210mm) is the all-rounder. Fits standard NZ letterboxes comfortably and gives you enough design space to work with. DL (99mm x 210mm) is slimmer and lighter, which helps when you're doing thousands. A6 (105mm x 148mm) minimises paper cost for high-volume drops but you're working with less space for your message.

For outdoor exposure or heavy handling, go 170gsm or heavier. Adding gloss or matte lamination makes a big difference to moisture resistance and durability. For truly weatherproof applications like car windscreens or outdoor display holders, laminated 250gsm or heavier stock holds up best.

Tri-fold (letter fold) gives you six panels. Bi-fold (single fold) gives you four. Gate-fold with panels folding inward for a dramatic reveal. Z-fold creating an accordion effect. Roll-fold with sequential nested panels. Each suits different content structures. We'll suggest what works for your layout.

Yes, and most should be. Double-sided printing doubles your communication space without adding to paper or distribution costs. Front for the headline and imagery, back for details, terms, map, or contact info. Both sides get the same print quality.

Gloss for vibrant colours and visual punch. Silk/satin for a more sophisticated feel with less glare. Matte for easy reading and a premium tactile quality. Uncoated for a natural feel (and it's what stops your brochure looking like a tax return if the content is text-heavy). Finish also affects fingerprint visibility and whether people can write on it.

Submit high-resolution PDF files with images at 300dpi minimum, colours in CMYK mode, and 3mm bleed extending beyond trim edges. Embed all fonts or convert to outlines. Keep critical text and logos at least 5mm from trim edges so they don't get clipped during cutting. If that sounds like a lot, our pre-press team can guide you through it.

Don't try to say everything. A clear visual hierarchy that guides readers through the content, imagery that actually supports your message (not stock photos of people shaking hands), concise copy in scannable sections, and a strong call to action telling people what to do next. The fold sequence should reveal information in a logical order. And leave some white space. Cramming every panel full makes people put it down.
